Does anyone know how to solve the difficulty of having the game make certain uphill putts impossible to make because it sets your maximum putting distance on some shots too low to make the putt???
I just bought the game a couple days ago, and think it's great except for this one problem. I have had five or six instances ALREADY where I have three, four, or five-putted when going uphill, because I cannot putt the dang ball hard enough to get anywhere close to the hole, even with maximum overswing. Sometimes it will give you enough distance, but all too often I'll have a putt which is pretty steep uphill, and the game sets my max putting distance to where the ball would barely make it to the hole on EVEN ground. I smack it as hard as I can only to have it go maybe halfway to the hole, then quite often it repeats that cycle until I finally get within a couple feet of the hole.
I'm hoping there is an easy way to fix this that I have simply overlooked. If not, this seems to me to be a MAJOR bug that could be easily patched. I know you can switch to a chip, pitch, bump-and-run, etc. even on the green, but that is hardly a solution. It's pretty danged hard to knock a chip shot only 6 feet. If this can't be fixed I am probably going to return the game to the store.
