Hello, after many discussions with zone ops and weeding through rumors and truths, I have finally found out that our team name is in question. As you may have already discovered, our team initials stand for Kiss My Ace. While I understand the rules governing offensive material in the zone, I can tell you without hesitation that there is no one being offended by our name in our zone. http://zone.msn.com/linksls2000/ I would like to point out a couple things first about procedure. If our team name is in question, then why as team captain, was I not given any formal notice? Does the zone just indiscriminately ban those who it decides are in violation? Or, should we be given at least the courtesy of an e-mail directly to the Team Captain (me), with an opportunity to defend ourselves and our case. That would seem to make sense. The mail I received stated that I was in violation of some credit card misuse. You can imagine how I responded to that. After figuring out that this was not the case, I did however read a very disingenuous posting in the forum. Our team has been together for over a year and have spent most of that time in the top 20 and the #1 spot. You don't get that by offending people. We have a solid group and are friends to all. I have spoken to and mailed many of the other team Captains who are also friends and without hesitation they all unanimously agree with and support my position. If you guys are going to ban anyone based on team names, then you should at least check the ladders to see who and what you are banning. Moreover, a mail to the Captain before action would certainly be advantageous to all, as well as proper. Our zone is mostly long standing patrons with many gold members, all of which agree that this action against us is just plain wrong.
