From the other TD's tournament rules. This was decided during the first week or two of using gaming safari when it became apparent that the leaving the table rule is a boot was impractical. There are times when a player cannot play a card, or a player cannot see the cards that others at the table can, or a player cannot click the next hand button, etc. The solution is to leave the table and come back and then everything is fine.
: As I told you last night the first rule is the one to follow. Where did you get the 2nd one??
: Current rule:
: Boot Rule: Each player has a boot time of 10 minutes per game, each player can be off the table 4 times and each team a maximum of 7 times per game. Any player or team exceeding these limits will be disqualified. The timer for the boot will start when the TD or ASSISTANT arrives at the table and announces the time. If a player is idle with no ping, do NOT boot until the TD give the OK. The boot will not take place until 180 seconds of idle time has passed, thereby giving all players the same advantage the host has automatically.
