:Dan, Truly one of the better postings I have seen in this forum. I believe your actions of the past week show character and integrity. I also believe that anyone who has taken the time to really study what has been going on the past year would share your "perspectives" . Thank you for your efforts......Ray

: Everyone looks at things from their own perspective.

: What I will write in the rest of this post will be from my perspective. You may agree with some of what I say, you may not, but again that would be reading my words from your perspective..

: When I resigned as Head TD/TD on this ladder, I did so because I was told that as a Head TD it was not part of my duties to stand up for the players. It is something I do not agree with.

: My perspective about being a tournament director has everything to do with the players.
: I hosted tournaments for the players.
: When a player came to me asking for help, I helped them.
: When controversy in tournaments arose I tried to bring things up in the TD Meetings to help in prove things for the players. I tried to stand up for them.

: Without players there is no need for tournament directors. I have always thought that the priorities of the TDs was to provide the best tournaments for the players to play in and to stand up for the players and assure that they get them.

: From my perspective, it is wrong to openly attack a TD, even when you don't agree with what they are doing. When you openly attack the TD others join in and soon you have a group ganging up on the TD. This is a mob mentality and it is the worst thing we can do. This is unfair to everyone, including the TD. Sure you may feel the TD deserves it, but should other innocent and uninvolved players have to suffer through the conflict? When a TD or even another ladder player is openly attacked everyone that sees the attack is affected.

: From my perspective, the rules that govern this ladder have become too strict. Everyone feels like they are walking on eggshells and it has taken the fun out of this ladder for a large number of players. There are those who feel that they need to have a tight control over this ladder but that control is not allowing players to breathe. It is hard to have fun when there is so much emphasis placed on follow the rules or else...

: From my perspective, in the past few months since I became a Head TD until I resigned this ladder has lost too many tournament directors. Someone told me that we have not lost a considerable number of TDs, but to go from 15 active TDs to 7 active TDs (Those who have hosted in the last 7 days) is a significant number of TDs to lose. Even of those 7 TDs one of them has requested retirement, so that brings us down to 6 actively hosting TDs.

: From my perspective, a person that continually says the phrase "I don't care" really doesn't. I have heard that phrase too many times from someone who I feel that their duties is to care about what happens on the ladder and what happens to the players.

: From my perspective from being a member of this ladder for quite some time, is that we have never seen the ladder as bad as it is now. Ever since we had a change in management things have been done differently. Tournaments that used to be non-stats must now be stats. We were told this was being done across all the ladders, but that turned out to be a lie. We have growing problems, not a growing ladder.

: From my perspective, it seems that the management of this ladder does not want to even listen to the player complaints. When they are properly submitted through support, and the answer is posted for the entire ladder to see, they feel it should not be and pull the post. Until those who can affect change on this ladder take some action and do what is necessary this ladder will continue to have problems until there is little left on the ladder.

: Well those are some of my perspectives and if Case continues doing things the way they are it won't get any eaiser.

: Dan
