well mark ... how about a couple of facts? yes it's true that we didn't play for a couple of nights when we were #1. at the time bombshells were #2. i knew that we were not going to be able to have a team that weekend for several reasons (most that real life you speak of) and asked pattie for a rank reduction ... since that wasn't too long after rc had left shells sitting on their thumbs for a couple of nights when they were in the same situation. pattie said that wasn't necessary and i explained the situation to shells before they came into the room expecting a 1 v 2 match. under the circumstances, they were okay with it. i guess if a team is going to make it a mission to be #1,
they should at least be courteous enough to show up for a match with the #2. maybe you could think about arranging things so that any team member can add a sub ... it works for my team...
