A few compelling things struck me as odd looking through some of posts and comments.
First a lot of people upset over Cases not moving, I hate to say it, but they did the right thing. The % is misleading here as it is on such a small sample of 35 votes. There was a 1 vote difference and nothing more.
*****Not afraid to say that I votred against the move to GLO - it's a pathetic choice period. This ladder needs a move no question ....GLO is not an option.
Cases hasn't historically moved a ladder with a vote like that in the past, and haven't changed any kind of rules or additions either. While we may not like it, we have to respect it. They own the site, we are merely players or members.

Think that this ladder should stay here in GD and continue on ?? HELL NO
We have the choice to continue to use their site or go elsewhere. So while we sit here and complain it won't change matters, they are the owners, they are paying the bills to maintain and run the site.
*****VERY TRUE ...that stated customer sense has never been a strong suit of this site. Thats what they need to do right now to maintain this ladder. ie) Listen to the members ?
An unpopular view I am sure, but if you really think about it, there isn't much more we can do.

Second topic cheating, a few teams penalized for cheating recently. Kind of makes me wonder how long this has gone on, if it's true, and how it was caught now.
****In my opinion only ....more BULLCRAP ...4 people at a table with access to multiple forms of chat is simply breeding this kind of abuse. I would never suggest JIM and his wife actually cheated ...I doubt they ever did.
Oh yes, I can hear you say, but SLAY your team cheated all the time. That would be incorrect as my team was never penalized nor warned of cheating, accusations made, that never materialized to anything more than speculation.

I am not saying anyone cheated, I don't know the facts behind either penalty, and really don't want to know. I am sure Cases has their reason and proof that convinced them otherwise.
****Makes no difference with a ladder in tatters and no real plan to move this thing forward or an effort to grow it is there ?? SAD really because it could happen if any effort was put in the right direction ....
Regarding CLO, I made a post a long time back stating I couldn't access CLO, and not one person replied to tell me how, or what I needed to do. Why would I want to play there, if I couldn't get in? Other people can't get in either, so again, why go there?

Ahh yes GD sucks and almost anywhere would be better. Perhaps we could play on NCN. That would be the Naked Cribbage Network for those that never played there.

One thing to ponder, the holidays are coming, and to worry about small trivial matters like online cribbage and a cyber ladder are trivial to the upcoming elections across the US, the impending death penalty on Saddam, and those that are starving and living in poverty across the world.

Seriously in your everyday life, where does cribbage and this ladder rank? If it's in your top 10, I suggest you seek help immediately.
*****I Concure ....however a group of people that enjoy to play a game together nightly or a couple of times of week should be given the power to make that happen ??

Life is too short, and there is a lot more to life than cribbage and this ladder, that's why I choose to play about once every 3 weeks, I found a lot that I gave up because of it, especially my family.
