It seems that every penelty should be treated the same..if you are accused of something...then you should have a chance to respond.
****I believe the judge and jury suggested you had 24 hours ? Which seems time enough for me ....people do expect CASES to attune to penalties post haste ....when they don't in fact people complain.
While it is true that Karen and I are married...there is no proof that we live in the same house...WE were never asked.

The only thing that was ever said about it ...was when we asked Patti if we would get the box if we lived in the same house and played together. She affrimed that we would.
*****My opinion is this ....GD under the 4 player tableset is ripe for cheating in my opinion ....Lets face it - 4 player with MSN , ICQ etc is a joke of a way to play team cribbage. The original premise for team cribbage of three on three singles games is still the only way the team cribbage concept works. I personally would give Slay and several stunners credit for that concept. It took into account the availability of chat etc.
The next thing we knew...we were put in the box for 14 days(later recinded to 7 days).

To be honest as a former player of this ladder and several others that the Buglady was a part of ....I am not surprized if you got screwed inappropriately.

: : When we receive a complaint alleging cheating, we immediately ask for proof, ie screenshots or other proof. We then send the accused an email giving them 24 hours to give us their side of the story. If they do not reply, we are then forced to make a decision based on the proof supplied.
: : When the supplied proof upholds the accusation, we then decide whether it was cheating or not cheating. The captain of the team is then contacted and given 24 hours to let us know whether they want to take the penalty as a team or remove the person and let them serve the penalty alone. If we don't hear from them in 24 hours, we then assess the penalty to the entire team.
: : I will not discuss in the forum the specifics of a complaint. Suffice it to say that we do not penalize a team without reason and without proof. We give them a chance to tell their side.
