I will admit I am one of the worst for getting frustrated with the TD\'s for late starts. I have come to realize my views were all wrong. The TD\'s weren\'t the problem, it\'s the members!

It doesn\'t bother me when:

People start a team when there is less than 5 minutes until start time when they already have a partner lined up that will check in right away.

People come in late and go auto that makes it uneven is no problem as long as they realize they could and should get dropped and asked to stick around and sub.

It does bother me when:

People start a team with less than 5 minutes to start time and have no one in mind as a partner. Put your password in your team name. That will make it a lot faster to get you a partner and get the tourney started. If you are picky on who you may get as a partner by having your password there, then do a better job lining up your own team ahead of time. If you don\'t want to take your chances on who you get, drop out and let the tourney start.

People think it\'s the TD\'s job to get them lined up with a partner, it isn\'t!

The tourneys have started at 10 12 2 4 6 8 10 and midnight for years. Those times are not when you should come in, make a team, or start trying to find a partner. Those times are when the trny should start! Quickie trnys aren\'t always available due to a lot of players still in previous trny, or not enough players in lobby to even fill a quickie. TD\'s don\'t hang around in their free time waiting to start a quicky for people that got there late. They are enjoying their free time finally playing in, instead of running a trny.

I could go on and on but these are the most important points for everyone to understand.

I would like to see an announcement put on each tourney page.

\"If both partners are not checked in at start time you will be dropped and asked to sub. If the autos are uneven, the last person to go auto will be dropped and asked to sub.\"

TD\'s can then close, and start on time and it will be no one\'s fault but the person(s).

There! I got my venting done for awhile!
