The following is the new General Rules that will be followed in all tournaments-effective immediately. TD's should begin using these rules now.

GENERAL RULES

The first person listed in pairings chooses dictionary, sets table and invites opponent.

There is a 2 minute MIA on each player at the beginning of each round.

A player who gets booted due to connection during a tourney game will have 3 minutes to return to Tourney Terrace and continue game.

Restart is allowed only in Round One--on the first word for each player. There will be no exceptions to this rule.

In the event of a tie, a rematch must be played immediately. The timer for a rematch is 3/0 unless otherwise specified by the TD.

In the event of a dispute regarding rules during a match, please pause your game and ask for the TD's ruling on the dispute before continuing play.

Winner reports win in lobby in ALL CAPS.

No PM-ing (Private Messaging) of players while they are in a Tourney game.

No playing in any other matches/tourneys or games while playing in this tourney. Doing so will result in a DQ.

If you run out of time, you lose/dqed!

All Lexulous & Cases rules apply!

In case of a room boot, we will meet in the Ladder Room to complete the tourney.

Cheating or use of an anagramming device of any kind is forbidden. Doing so can cause your removal from the tourney and game site.

There will be no arguing or unkind remarks made in the lobby by any player at any time. Please take all personal disputes to a private message screen. If an argument continues in the lobby after being warned to stop, the TD can and will disqualify or remove offending players from the tournament. Therefore, please be kind to your fellow players and TD.

All TD decisions are final. Failure to follow these rules could result in a DQ (Disqualification).
