There are no protections for rank 2 from this angel or from any angle. With the rules the way they are now there are no protections in effect for the #2 rank at all. If three or four want to play #1 go for it! Rank three can play two if they challenge two. Why wait? #1 should not have to but if others choose to not play #1 that is their choice to do so or not do so. This is the issue that got me the other day myself when I was at the top. There was no one to play. In my view you should not have taken the vrr but gone ahead and played all. If a complaint were filed on it then it would be for the ops to make the call. I know I could of challenged #1 myself but was trying to let myself fall back a bit to be honest. I guess I should of gone ahead and challenged and come what may. Sorry For_my_friends99. Just my thoughts

: Hi all,

: I want to voice my thoughts over the practice of making sure #2 is not bumped when playing others. This becomes difficult when we only have 10 - 15 active members and that we can play 3 times a day. It is wrong in my opinion to have to sit around and not play. Realistically it takes all the fun out of the game, especially when there are people in the room to play.
: For instance, today I was the #1 player and there were 3 or 4 people in the room I could have played, but having to protect #2 I was unable to play at all. Finally I got sick of waiting around and took a rank reduction just so I could play. This is something that really does not need to happen since this is a ladder and movement is what needs to occur, not stagnation.

: Just my thoughts
