Hi Guys,

If you wanna spice things up a bit I have hundreds of tourney variations for canasta. If any TD wants the website let me know.

A few examples...

***NO NO***

MAKE ALL TABLES,DRAW 2 CARDS ,2 CANASTAS,RATED, PRIVATE.
Players are not allowed to pick up the discard deck at all and neither player is allowed to go out.

***HIGH IN THE SKY***

MAKE ALL TABLES, DRAW 2 CARDS , 1 OR 2 CANASTAS, RATED, PRIVATE.
You can NOT touch the discard pile, You may only meld or canasta 8-Ace in this tourney. Black 3s, 4,5,6,and 7
may only be used as discards. You may NOT meld black 3s ever, not even when going out.

My personal fav...

***CRAZY 8'S***

MAKE ALL TABLES, DRAW 2 CARDS ,2 CANASTAS, RATED, PRIVATE.
You must have two canastas's before melding 8's you may make as many canastas as you want after melding 8's as you like as long as you go out and as long as you make 2 canastas befroe melding 8's If there is an 8 on the top of the pile, you may not pick it up. You may not ever meld 8's unless you are going out. You may go out anytime or pick up at anytime.
