There seem to be some misconceptions about the role of Ladder Op /HTDs.

1. When a Ladder OP/HTD is in the lobby, they are there as a Ladder OP. They do not get involved in tournie issues, at all. The only time a Ladder OP/HTD deals in tournie issues is when they are actually running a tournie.

The job of HTD is a mostly background job. They are involved in training TDs, filling in when a TD can't make it, assisting the TDs with technical problems.

2. An HTD cannot penalize a player on the ladder side of the story. They can penalize on the tournie side, only.

3. When an HTD is running a tournie, they cannot act as ladder op. If a problem developes with the need for a ladder op, they must call in another ladderop or staff member to handle the problem. At no time, are they allowed to wear two hats at the same time. HTD and Ladder OP duties are kept entirely seperate.

4. Ladder OPs do not have the power to mute, boot from the Pogo site. For this, you need to contact Pogo via their complaint department.

5. If a penalized (boxed) player comes to the lobby and continues to create problems, you should immediately file a complaint with Pogo and place that player on IGNORE. You should also take screenshots and file a complaint with Case's. We can and will add additional penalties to that person's account, but, only with absolute proof.

6. If a non-Case's player creates problems, the same thing goes. File a complaint with Pogo and place them on ignore. There is nothing at all Case's can do about non-Cases players.

I hope this clears up some of the confusion.
