I think you, like some others, have the wrong end of the stick, so to speak, about my league and why keef and i started it,and I would really like to clear this up..
Keith and I started the my league just before cases offered us the choice of playlink or game colony. The idea was to have a temporary place to play until cases found us a new home....and to thumb our noses at won!!!!!! [the latter being all a matter of perspective...I feel like I am USING won].
Quite a few folk said they were not going to yahoo and wanted to stay at won so it seemed like a good idea.
Then cases offered us this site and keef and I were going to move here [you will see that I have moved my stats here]. However, suddenly, instead of the 30 or so folk we had expected to join, we had over 200 of the old ladder family joined up. These people all hated playlink and seem to feel that they will move to ea.com if and when it gets euchre. Or maybe playlink will improve sufficiently that we will all move here.
We have no illusions about the temporary nature of our stay as my league on the won site. Flips execs all seem a little confused about my league and that confusion is giving us a stay of execution.
All keef and I really want is for the family to be back together again. I play here, at won and at yahoo and still I am managing to miss many of the people I have come to love.
