First off, let me tell you we've been approved for a special type of tourney that I don't believe they've done in case's before. I'm going to put up some big bux for a free tourney that I'd like to invite as many of our friends from other sites (and all around case's) as possible. We're going to make the bonus bux you win payable to any ladder they are on. So, they can be won here and stay in your playlink account or won here and awarded to Case's Yahoo Euchre, My League Case's Ladders, or any other of the Many Case's Ladders they choose. I'll be setting this up with an explaination web page and the tourney will be held Saturday, Nov. 11th at 7 PM.
I would very much appreciate the help in getting the word out to as many as possible. We can't put it in other ladder's forums, but we can use the heck out of ICQ and ask those that we ICQ to pass it on to every member of any case's ladder that on their lists.
We need to make sure to advise players that they need to set up the case's and playlink accounts well in advance. This one's going to have 5,000 in bonuses paid out 4000/1000 per team 1st/2nd.
Aside from that, this Thusday I'm holding a special round robin tourney for players of this ladder. I'll be paying out 1000 to first and 500 to second. This tourney will be in honor of Girty (doesn't mean she has to win) for all the hard work she's been putting in here for tourneys for us all.
Playlink is a close knit group. It's kind of like having our very own game server.
BTW I'm not considering taking up crossdressing as a vocation. Will change back shortly.
