I agree with you Dem. I think Tam has done a great job on her site and she is making changes constantly to improve it. I bought a membership too, the games are good and will only get better.

I think her work and devotion warrant the membership fee. I paid alot more to Case's for less (mostly statistics), but for the same reason to show support for something I love - gaming. I don't think it is wasted money if it enhances your enjoyment of the game. We spend alot more for tobacco, alcohol or the fine chocolate we love to satisfy our cravings.

I know we all have our opinions and are entitled to them, and we will never all agree. I just think the same way you do - you are getting alot more at Tam's than you get at ANY other gaming site. For the money and time she has invested in that site $24.99 of my money is a drop in the bucket. She did it for months for free, and now she is getting some money in from paying members but I can assure you she is still running in the negatives, yet she is excited about getting a new server, and putting the money back into the site. Case's has hundreds of thousands of members - many of them paying $10 a month and more! and still had to ask for donations to buy their new servers. Think about it. Running and maintaining a site is not cheap. They have to pay people to run it, they have to pay for bandwith, they have to pay for domain names, hosting services, and other related supportive services. Tam has all those expenses too, on a much smaller scale no doubt, and she does the work herself but it still costs money!

As for her site being undeveloped, well there are bugs and glitches. There were bugs and glitches at the "old block" too. A necessary evil of any interactive gaming experience. I think Tam is at least trying to fix them as soon as she can. I am wondering if and when Block comes back - on a new site, new servers, new "owners" and new developers if it won't be at the same point Tam is. It is starting over from scratch apparently since it will only be available as one player initially. And I read somewhere they were ironing out some trouble with word verification. So, the old block MAY look the same and play the same but it will not BE the same. It too will be a NEW game but with an old familiar feel. There will be glitches, there will be bugs and there will be lag.

I just hope that before turning away from Tams potential members will consider that she has done what no one else could for those many months we wandered homelessly. It was not, is not and will not be an EASY feat for her.

I am done rambling now.
