Bren, being a responsible pet owner as well, don't worry. My vet and numerous others have said the same about spaying or neutering at at least 6 months of age.

In so far as shelters this is where we got Kayla from, and she has been a wonderful addition to our family.

Unfortunatley unwanted pregnancy happens in both the animal population and the human population more often then we care to think.

When you think about it, which is the lesser of two evils, unwanted animals or unwanted humans.

In my humble opinion is the latter........
