What club were you playing at? I thought you had no one over 1300 or so at your closest club. Not too much invention by this 1650 player... ATONIES, PAUSERS, RETANNED??? sheesh! =)

: He opens with GERMIEr, and gets a quick 104-16 lead. I then play DARLINGS and NOVATION to take a 158-140 lead. I then trade twice, and then play krubi, which he challenges. He next plays rallines, and I immediately challenge it off. At this point, it's 193-173 for me. Next, he plays DENTURED*. I don't quite understand how Wall's club gets a wow at zarfs, but no one who looked at my board even looked at boehmite...

It's nice to know those goofy K 5's like KRUBI, TALUK, TAROK etc can work as challenge bait even against a 1750 player. As for DENTURED*... what a frustrating word. Aside from his rating, it gets plausibility points from INDENTURED... but you already know with RALLINES* he's not above trying to BS you. And as for ZARFS... I'm not sure it wowed the club as my opponent had apparently hoped. Easy play, lucky tiles, big deal, is how I saw it!

?? No one 1300 over here would think twice about GORINESS. EVOLUTE is a word I only ever used in Scrabbleblitz... in the sense that I played VOLUTES on TWS, and the EVOLUTES hook letting me triple it again with the following word.

By the way, I'm somewhat surprised you managed to maintain the correct sequence in the # of club stuffs!
