well, here I go...
Game 1: against a 1650 player
I open with meiny, but she bingos turn 4 with pausers, and I'm down 128-63. I then play you for 9 points, and she takes a 151-72 lead. Next I throw down erotica for 72, she bingos back with something simple (I think it was atonies, but I'm not sure) and I bingo again with revolted to take a 239-215 lead. I then play xyst and fiz for 30 each, and go up 299-247. She then plays retanned* and I immediately challenge it off. She missed moderate for 36, but I hardly think it would matter. I then held therack ranqoa?, and debate whether to play qintar for 42, or tranq for 14. I then play tranq; anticipating a tranq reply after it, and coming back with zoa 27 to completely block all bingo lanes. I draw an ICSH and gladly play azoic, taking a comfortable lead and seal the game. 447-372.
Second game; against a 1750 player
He opens with GERMIEr, and gets a quick 104-16 lead. I then play DARLINGS and NOVATION to take a 158-140 lead. I then trade twice, and then play krubi, which he challenges. He next plays rallines, and I immediately challenge it off. At this point, it's 193-173 for me. Next, he plays DENTURED*. Now I think about this one, and I end up holding for 5 minutes. I don't like it for sure, but I'm playing a former 1850 player, and I wasn't sure, so I let it go. Then he gets 4 30+point moves and takes a 392-285 lead. I then get down boehmite; he holds but doesn't challenge. I don't quite understand how Wall's club gets a wow at zarfs, but no one who looked at my board even looked at boehmite... well I thought it was a hard find :). Anyway, I lose because of the huge turn around 426-416. Pretty good for allowing a phoney 8 and getting 3 power tiles against a probably stronger player. Lesson learned; don't expect a 1750 player to know any more than I know.
Game 3: against a 1300 player.
Pretty much a blowout. I open with evolute; She gets close with a 91 point showier and I'm only up by 18. I then play goriness, which undeservedly draws a challenge, and ignatia. 511-347
