: Well we did it guys!....thanks to the help of all of you and some very patient members of our on-line gaming family we actually have a gret new site for when the zone stops supporting scrabble. I am not a doomsday preacher, actually, i am a very optimistic person and I really dont want to lose this ladder and family of on-line players. Quite the reverse, I am trying to prevent the zone from doing to our family what it did to the mplayers. : under the left column Community's LIVE CHAT, and went to email the mplayers to tell them of our new home, only 300 hundred players were listed for me to email out of 700 who were previously listed. That will not happen to us because everyone who doesnt read the forum and isnt signed up when the zone ladder goes down will receive an email from me before they start to disappear. Baibis who has been running this room with me along with people like mcvideo, scrabblequeen, puzz, ladyofthewoods and countless others helping out each other have been training and assisting most of you and the mplayers. I would like to keep this site open for free training almost all day long and so far have only got baibis assigned any hours that are definite. If i may impose on any of you who either already know the ropes or who want to learn them to volunteer for set hours (preferable my office hours when i cant be here at all M-F 9-5) I would be very grateful. I can only offer you auto ops (automatic channel operator with an @ by your name ) and the knowledge at the end of the day that you made a difference in someone's life, that you helped at least one person that day.
: I also would liek to take this opportunity to tell everyone who had a hard time earlier (before we figured it out) that some of you did everything right and still could not launch due to the fact that some people have to go to their boards and click OPTIONS, then click CONFIGURE INTERNET and change the port number there from 11 to 3000. Most of us dont have an 11, but i am suprised by how many of you do. Anyway i miss you all and the zone but feel that this is my priority right now and hope to see you all at least to get it down before the onslaught when the zone stops supporting hasbro. BY the way, i increased the capacity of the chat room from 100 to 1000 with the help of TyroneTanic and i have to tell you all that Tyrone has been more than generous with his donation of knowledge and time to help teach me how to get this site the way we need it.
