: Well alrighty then!
: How about we all get together for a night of laughter and mayhem at the scrabblerules cases page on wednesday night at 7pm Eastern Standard time>? I am going to host my first tourney (a doubles tourney of course!) using the internet hookup option on our vers 1 cdroms.I promise laughter and loads of fun but i do not promise it will go smoothly the very first night....lol. I can do the internet setups and I can do the math for this tourney. If you dont have a partner I will find you one. This is what you do. Go to: http://www.myleague.com/scrabblerules
: Join the ladder there first. That doesnt have anything to do with the doubles tourny but you will need to be a member to access the meeting room. Then scroll down the left hand side of the page to COMMUNITY and click LIVE CHAT. The page that pops up will request your name and email address. Fill that in and click connect. This will bring you right to the main chat lobby and you can see all your friends there. I will assign pairings and show you how easy it is to use your cdrom to hook up via the internet to play your foursomes. Then report your scores after the game in the same chat lobby.
: In case anyone wants to get a leg up on how to connect via the internet before the tourny or just wants to know how to play a buddy anywhere on the internet, here are the simple instructions to follow. These are the instructions for a foursome, but you can figure out the same goes for playing a twosome as well:
: The remote computers (all but the host) chose JOIN GAME, select the Internet radio button, specify an IP address for the host computer (insert the IP address of the host), then click OK. The host computer chooses NEW GAME, specifies the number of opponents, and indicates that each will connect over the internet. The host and remote players can ute their respective commands in any order.
: Instructions to finding out one's IP address is even simpler than that. Go to Start, click RUN, type in WINICFG, and then click OK. Your IP address will be right in front of you.
: I will see all you BRAVE souls on Wednesday night and we will have a blast!
: Laughter and Scrabble,

: PS Now dont you make me come after you on the zone and at games.com on Wednesday!...LOL
