I'd like to thank every player who played at Mplayer Scrabble. Often times I saw praise casted upon those who reached the #1 rung or those who had performed well at a tournament, but I don't recall much said about those who may not have had a stellar winning percentage or a high glicko rating. In particular I refer to the Y's,W's and blanks. To you folks that fall into this category, I extend a cyber pat on the back. For the most part, you exemplified the spirit of the game and formed the backbone of this ladder.
I tried to play every player I could, and for those I didn't, perhaps we will play sometime in the future at a tournament or at club.
I have checked out the other online sites for scrabble. They are not for me. If they are to your liking, then I wish you the best of fun in your gaming. Scrabble is a unique game that can be enjoyed in many variant forms.
For those who may not know, I am one of those that was originally from the NSA that found Mplayer scrabble. It was a great joy to see players improve their play and venture into the LIVE arena of clubs and tournaments. For those of you who have not played at a club or a tournament, I urge you to do so. It is what I would call "real" scrabble. It is a real treat to pit your scrabble strategy and word power against another scrabble player in a LIVE setting.
I am going to post a couple more messages here at the forum. This one I mainly wanted to say thanks for the memories. I will miss Mplayer scrabble and all of you.
