Hello everyone,
Thank you for your interest in joining the Cases Ladder for Hearts played at MPlayer.com.
My name is Art, playing under the name of TheArtOfCardsTD. I will be a Tournament Directory.
This is a new ladder for Cases, and we have NO ranked players at this time. To help everyone get started, I will host our first tourney on Tuesday Night at 9 PM EST.
What you need to do is meet in the Social Room between 8:30-8:59 PM EST. I will give you the information for registering and checking into this tourney at that time. All round winners in this tourney, will then be officially on the Ladder.
I intend on sending out a more formal letter of welcome, covering some of the rules and courtesies of the ladder for all to read, as well as some general information to help us have this run smoothly.
I will be spending time in the Social Side of MPlayer. but rule one that we all need to follow, is label your rooms as CASES LADDER MATCH. This way, people coming in, will know that your on the ladder.
I you are unfamiliar with the basic rules of the ladder, please go to the Mplayer hearts web page of Cases and click on the Rules, here you will see how to report losses you have, and many other general rules.
I have applied to become and OP of this ladder as well. We will need more OPs and also some more Tournament Directors. With the assistance of Darleen, we hope to get this up and running quickly.
Currently, we have to use the social room of Mplayer hearts, but as we grow, we would hope to maybe get our own room there, working with them to attain this, but we need the community growth, in order to warrant this with them. If we can get our membership and players up, we can have request from them to make a LADDER Room, so then they would have a Social Room, Ranked Room and then a Ladder Room.
As I said, I will send out a more formal letter to everyone tomorrow night. But to help us get started, please feel free to join me in MPlayer at 8:30 PM tomorrow and we will get a tournament going at that time. Please go there and review the rules, if you have any questions, please feel free to reply to my email and ask them. I will reply back with the answers that I know and those that I dont, I will find the answer out for you and get back with you ASAP.
