: This is a copy of an email I received from Patrick's wife. This is such a shock...I can't believe it! Please keep his family in your prayers. I am sure he is playing Cribbage with Cappy in heaven. I will miss you, Patrick. On the wings of angels, my friend.. RIP HUGS

: To all the players at Case's Ladder and others who played cribbage with Patrick McCroary (aka Pat Mac and Romad 33: My husband died yesterday of a heart attack. He was a retired Air Force Master Sergeant, a current employee of SAIC Corporation, a loving husband and father of three children. He loved to play cribbage and enjoyed playing on the Cases's Ladder site with all of you. It became his most enjoyable hobby-other than listening to Red Sox games! I'm arranging to have an Air Force memorial service at Fort Polk, Louisiana either Tuesday or Wednesday of next week. The details have not been finalized as yet. Do not send donations. If you wish to honor my husband, please support any charity that is supporting military causes in your area. God bless you all! Dawn McCroary
