Here is the latest update on Las Vegas, if you are thinking of going please let Karen know asap

Hi All You Cribbers!

Time is flying by fast and before you know it we all should be in Vegas for our 2006 Cribbage Meet! I have a few things to go over with you all.

:-$ Many of you need to get your Registration money to me still. Deadline for sending your money is September 15TH. I need to confirm who is going so I can make plans on how to set up the playing room also. Please get me your checks or let me know your plans of attending as soon as possible

:-) The Store is now OPEN with this year’s apparel! As always we have some great quality items for you to wear. You only have until September 1st to make your order and get your check in the mail. I need at least a month to order and get our merchandise embroidered. You will find the store button on both left and right side of our Vegas web site. Remember there will NOT be any merchandise sold at the meet, so don’t be one of those who wished they had ordered when you see everyone else decked out in our quality apparel.

:-( I have been told here are more who are coming or are still trying to plan how they can come to this years meet. I need everyone who thinks there is a good chance they are attending to pre-register on our web site as soon as possible. Only 71 players are signed up now and I know that number might drop by tourney time. If you have paid or made other arrangements with me, it will be noted in your confirmed area. Please get out there and talk up this event and help me get the procrastinators to register now!

:-\ If you have NOT reserved your room at The Plaza, please so now. Last check I did with the hotel, we had reserved 39 rooms out of the 50 rooms blocked. You cannot find a better rate then what we got this year and we want you all to be staying at “Party Central”.

If you can help me out with all my requests, it will make my life less stressful to be sure! This is not an easy meet to coordinate, and I need all the help I can get! LOL Remember to bring your own cribbage boards and we will supply the cards.

I am looking forward to seeing all my old friends again and meeting the first time event players too! This will be my 7th year working this and I can only tell you all it only gets better every year. Vegas is getting real hard to work with for groups as small as ours.

See you soon and beat the bushes for me on my list above. Pass the word in your leagues and bring more on board! See you in Vegas and know it will be a blast!
