Hi Aubster
As a ladder op it is our duty to see that ladder rules are followed by all users. If a ladder op is in the top 25 and has to rung a user it can be beneficial to to the ladder op. It can be argued that some ladder ops could abuse their abilities to raise their own standings and to keep themselves in a hank ranking position.
By not allowing lader ops in the top 25 you take away the temptation for the ladder op to abuse the .
I hope this helps to explain things.

: Hi Folks, i would like to know why an "op" can't be in the top 25. Aren't they players just like those of us who are not ops? They don't have an inside track to the cards do they? j/k
: I would not want to become an "op" knowing that I can not play in the case lobby like a regular player and try to get up the ladder. What would be the sense in playing.
: I'm sure there is a very reasonable sensible explanation, so that is why i'm asking.
: thank you much :):)
