: First I would like to say what a wonderful group of people we have here. Each of you bring wonderful qualities of humour and compassion into this playing lobby each day!
: As with any group of competetive players, we will all run into events that cause us problems, either with the rules or each other.
: From this day on, if a problem arises, there are steps that need to be taken in order for issues to be resolved. If a situation arises that needs the support of a LadderOP and one is not in the room or on ICQ, please follow these steps to ensure that you have proof to back up any complaint.
: 1. Take a screenshot of the chat or any issue with the game. No complaint will be resolved unless there is ample proof to back it up. "He said/she said" will not be accepted as proof. If you are the one complaining or the one being complained about, be sure to take a screenshot as proof. If you don't know how to take a screenshot, please let us know and we can help you.
: 2. Submit your complaint using the CONTACT US link under the heading of SUPPORT on the left side of the cases page. Please do NOT send your proof at this time. Save it to a place on your computer until such time as it is requested and also send it to a ladderop in case your computer fails and your copy is lost.
: 3. Contact a member of your OP team as soon as possible to get things started.

: For those of you that may be bystanders at the time of confrontation, please try to stay out of it unless it directly concerns you. Often, people can resolve any misunderstandings by talking it out. If others jump in it only tends to escalate the situation.
: Many good things can come from confrontation. We get to know each other better and we also learn the rules for our ladder.
: I am very proud of all of you and the way you handle yourselves daily. Even when we do have confrontations or misunderstandings, I have noticed that once the issue is closed, playing resumes and there are no hard feelings.
: We have an exceptional calibre of players here at Canasta. I know because I can rarely win a game against any of you LOL and that is fine as I enjoy all of your company more than the game itself.
: To any of you who feel that you may have had the misfortune of abuse or accusation, I apologise for your troubles. I can assure you that from this point on, if there is no proof of misdoing, the issue will be considered closed.

: Thank you for your kindness and your patience with us, your op team, and each other as we go through the transition of getting to know each other and the rules for our playing site.
