Fellow Cribbers, watch for bugs in the scoring in the Shack and when you see them please report them in the Shacks forums. They have a section for bug reports and the only way they will be aware of these bugs is if we report them. This is a NEW site remember and they need feedback in order to work out the kinks. If no one reports they will think everything is hunky-dory.
Here is what happened to me this morning attempting to play Linesider.
1) One game the cards played were My lead J, opp J (scoring 2 for the pair), me king, (should have gotten the go) opp K--scored 40 and gave him 3 points for the pair and the go. He had now pegged 5 to my zero. We aborted this game and tried again. This was the first hand of the game.
2) Next game Opp leads J, I play 5 for 15-2, opp plays a J, I play an ace. It is a Go. I play another ace and only scored the Go with no points for the pair. Second hand of the new game.
3) Next hand I lead a J, Opp plays a K, I play a Q and once more only get credit for the go. Should have scored 3 for a Run.
We aborted this game also as neither of us wanted a game played under these circumstances.
Again tonight, I noticed in a game that runs of 3 with a go were only scoring the single point for the go.
Hopefully these bugs will be fixed in the near future. See ya on the tables. Pat
