First off, I miss you all.

I am asking for prayer for my 19 year old daughter.
She has Rheumatoid Arthritis but now there is more. About 3 or so weeks ago her knee really starting hurting more than usual so we took her to the doctor which of course made us go to another doctor.
She had an examination and x-rays. They are sure that she has a Meniscus tear in her knee but that's not the worst part; they also found bone tumors. She has 3 of them and 2 of them are huge and you can actually feel 2 of them. One is right in her knee and takes up at least half the knee. Right now they do not know if they are cancerous. She had a MRI today and can't get in to see the doctor till the 19th, grrrrrrrrrr. They already said it is almost certain she will have some kind of surgery for the meniscus tear but they were debating on doing biopsies on her tumors. I am not going to take no for an answer on the biopsy. No wonder she hurts so bad; they are huge. Four years ago she had x-rays done on the same leg (right leg) due to pain and they said they were only islands that were 'like' tumors but that they would go away. Well, they have NOT gone away and have gotten much bigger and this doctor was surprised; wait till I tell him it was his retired colleague that made that decision to not do anything while my daughter stay in pain. I feel responsible in a way because I keep thinking maybe I should of said more or done more; but talking to the doctors here is like talking to a wall. I feel guilty; though maybe I shouldn't. It's hard to watch her in so much pain and limping and having to be in the wheelchair when we go out. She has had pain for so long where those tumors are but they dismissed it and NEVER gave her anything for pain till we saw this doctor last week and she was finally given something for pain. You should of seen her face lit up once she knew she would get some pain relief. The vicodin has helped but she is a little stubborn and won't completely stay off her leg so she causes herself more pain. She doesn't like people feeling sorry for her and wants to do things for herself.
Sorry for going on and on; guess I am just feeling anxious about this and upset and sad and all.
I hope everyone is doing well.

Shelley
