The thing about this---
knowing a little backround over cases, you have the right to choose which ladders you want to and not have a membership on. You can transfer your membership from ladder to ladder, but there is a waiting period inbetween transfers. So, technically, you are letting yourself be cheated--if you are on another ladder I would transfer it.
