Honestly, I don't think it would work.

People move on. They find new interests. No one comes to this forum anymore. No one seems to care.

That's not to say it isn't worth trying, but in my experience, when it comes to ladder revivals, people want instant results, and as a ship that sailed long ago, Yacht wouldn't be able to offer that.

This ladder died for a reason. What has changed since then? People weren't prepared to stick it out when they still cared about the league, so why would they now?

Of course, that's not to say you shouldn't try. I just think you should be prepared for a long road that might well end with a crushing defeat.
