Much was made of 'keeping the Family together' when we first heard that Hoyle (Encore) was moving to Pay to Play. Well, it seems that our room is now defunct. Although A la Viv gave us hepful instructions on 16th April (repeated by Tiggy three days later), no-one is getting in and tournies are not running. It was mooted at one time that we may be able to move to the other Wordox games site but nothing seems to have been done here - what a shame when the League there rarely run evening tournies... One FSW member told me "I don't do WS" what a pity to have that view when both sites are for Wordox players and neither (up until now) profited from players' enjoyment.
I personally would have appreciated an email from our 'bosses'; probably like most of the other players I have felt lonely and have missed our friendly tournies. Natsss has done her best to provide some games on the 'other' site but it's often hard to contact players.
So, are our HTD's, Ladder Ops, Lead Op, Op Manager etc. etc actually doing anything to support and inform us players (and TD's) of future plans? Or are we just to go our separate ways and (maybe) manage to meet up on another word games website?
