Update on the situation at Hoyle

This is a snippet from the newsletter in case your copy is delayed....

As you may be aware Hoyle is reportedly changing to ‘Pay to Play’ on 1st April. Having taken a poll it has been duly noted that the vast majority of players are not prepared to pay for a site that has such huge problems with access, lag etc.

This being the case FSW will follow the wishes of the majority and the Ladder Room will be vacated and tournaments put ‘on hold’ for the time being, assuming that the new does start on the 1st April! Just in case it is delayed please check the calendar and the message forum for an update. We are exploring another avenue and as soon as we have further information you will receive an email.
Come on Oxers let's fill those tournaments tonight and make the room rock!

Although we don’t seem to be prolific ladder game players should you happen to play another FSW member in the rated room at http://wordsteal.com/ you may report this as a ladder match. Please take careful note that these games must NOT, under any circumstances, take place in the existing ladder room at WS.

If you are not a premium member then don’t worry about purging from the ladder due to inactivity, which at the moment is set to 40 days – this will be extended to 255 days so everyone will be ‘kept safe!’ We managed to stick together last time we had no room so please ‘keep the faith’ this time.
