You can always pop into Pairs 2 for a game, even if you aren't on the ladder.... or you can rejoin the ladder later on. I have withdrawn from the various ladders several times, and later rejoined.
I am also happy to play a game or 2 with an "old friend" who stops by, even if he/she is not a ladder member. Hey, at least I don't have to report a loss if ya whip me! LOL!
