In case you don't recognize my ladder name, zendar was the name just before this.

Well so far everything I've predicted is happening right before my eyes. I'm still going to try to keep this civil, but it's not easy.

1. I was told by L2, that we may not TD on both ladders. This is fine (I don't agree with it, but it's fine)
2. I was told by L2, that each ladder would respect tournaments already on the calendar, so as to not cause conflict. And to keep 90 minutes between the tournaments.

Over 48 hours ago, I scheduled a swiss tournament at 10pm June 9th. One of the reasons for the swiss, is so that I can train others in this , since I know it well. When I scheduled mine, there was no notice of this tournament. There was nothing, zero, zilch for today, tonight, tomorrow day, and tomorrow night on both ladders. I gave the respect by looking up both ladders to make sure I wouldn't conflict with another TD's tourney

Today, 48 hours later, I get not 1, but 2 instant messages through ICQ, telling me about a tournament that is tonight Saturday June 9th, at 10:30pm.

A. Could someone help me with the math here, isn't that only 30 minutes between tournies that have now been scheduled?
B. and I quote, I ask the TD's to be committed to the ladder, and to respect the TD's of the other ladder. This is respect?

A lot of you are probably wondering, why did DC go so crazy on this TD issue, well now you are seeing the results. As I've said, been around 17 months now, TD on 5 ladders, played 9 different games, have seen everything and anything and can spot it in a second. yes I called the administrators reasoning on the TD issue Petty, and now maybe everyone can see why.

So what can we as players do about the problems arising.

John

PS, I've decided to take the mature route, and just cancel the tourney moving it to a later date, especially since I have the ability, and don't want to relive the WON episode all over again.
