Since 99 came out, Wev'e all had one shot that stands out in our minds......
Like to hear what was the one shot that actually stands out in your mind...
Heres mine..
Not remembering the course (It's been at least a year and a half ago) I was playing against Eagle2. he was ranked 2nd and I was ranked 10 I believe...
Anyway up 1 with two too play Eagle2 took the 17th with a birdie....
We went to the 18th, a par 5, second shot was 225 yards plus, over water, just to reach a green that was huge.... I hit my second, having it roll to the farthest edge, next to the water, of the green. His second hit the top of a small hill, bounced on the green, about 25 feet from the hole for Eagle.
Of course at this time I thought the match was over. My putt was 174 feet from the hole, up hill and had a aim that would take me over a hill like lean at the end of the putt (About 20 feet from the hole) that would roll the ball from left to right.
Taking aim, I hit the putt, I thought it was a mistake as I saw Tiger take that little step he takes that usually means you made the putt, just before he does putt... The ball took off like a shot, up the deep uphill slant, started to the hill like indentation, and curled the 20 feet down and rolled into the hole.
needless to say Eagle 2 and I were both in shock, after we both said a few words of it being the most amazing shot either of us had ever seen, Eagle2 took aim and lipped out his putt and lost the match....
Of course being good freinds on T99 for a long time, we both spoke about it for sometime to come.... After all it was the one shot either of us would not forget...
