(Ranked 138 on Pinochle (Yahoo) Ladder) on November 16, 2002 at 21:27:10:In response to suggestions by members of the ladder, we have put together 4 proposed additions or changes to the current GSRs. We would like your input prior to placing them in the voting booth.
1. Top Twenty Rank Matches
Current - None
Proposed: - Top Twenty Rank Matches: Members of the Top Twenty are not allowed to play the same player consecutive MATCHES without playing another rank first. Example: If a member ranked #12 cannot play rank #8 without first playing another top twenty rank in between. Tournament matches will not be included as consecutive matches.
2. Formal Challenges - Waiting Time:
Current - Formal Challenges - Waiting Time(added 8/28/02) Players are allowed to wait up to 15 minutes to play their Formal Challenge if both players are present in the room.
Proposed - Eliminate this rule in its entirety
3. Non-vague Priority for Matches:
Current - none
Proposed: - The priority of accepting matches for the Top Twenty of the ladder are as follows: Title Match, Formal Challenges, Rank Challenges. There will be no exceptions to this rule.
4. Once Per Day
Current - Once Per Day: Once Per Day: You can only play the same person once a day. You can play as many different people as you'd like on any given day.
Proposed – Twice Per Day: You can play the same person twice per day. You can play as many different people as you'd like on any given day.
