Well it's finally happened, aol Australia has canned worldplay which is why you haven't seen any Aussies here for a while. It happened about two months ago I tried to sign on and got error messages after a couple of days I contacted aol to be told they had no reports of any problems. A couple of days later I was told it was a known problem and they were working on it. after two months I have now finally been told aol is completely decomissioning worldplay and Australia is just first cab off the rank!!!! The rotten lying bastards could have told me straight off instead of tricking me into keeping my aol account for an extra two months while they were supposedly fixing it!! It seems the rumours we have all heard for the past six months or so are true. Anyway, it's done now. To all the fine people I have had the pleasure of playing over the last couple of years farewell and good gaming maybe we'll meet again on another backgammon site.
