You want to change the program just to get more 28 or 29 hands. I know nothing of programing but those two hands are very hard to come by and should be. I am sure most of us who have played this game for many years can count the number of 28 and 29 hands on all 10 of our fingers. The odds of getting a 28 hand in two player cribbage are 1 in 170984, the odds of getting a 29 hand in 2 player crib is 1 in 216,580 so I think the program is most likely doing its job. I have only played here in cases for about 8 years and I believe I have received 4-5 28 hands but I don't recall them being recorded anywhere so I am sure there have been a number of those high hands but just not reported like they have been in the past.
