Hi,
I have been trying to get into Cases Ladder for Spades for 2 weeks. I have been following the post in Playersladder2 room and still can't get in.
I stopped everything except Explorer. I shut off my Norton, my Firewall - everything. I deleted CLO and
CLO Beta, I deleted the Cases ladder folder, I took loadqm.exe out of my
startup folder, I cleared all the cookies in my Windows temporary internet
file folder, I rebooted the computer, I disabled everything except Explorer and I once again loaded CLO and it loaded 3,092,225 bytes and still it brought me to "Connecting to server...Disconnected"
I really don't think it is just me - I think a lot of people are having the same problem but just haven't reported it. Maybe somebody can figure out what is causing us not to be able to log on.
I have redone all the steps and have confirmed nothing is running in the background by doing Ctrl-Alt-Delete and disabling
everything except Explorer and I reloaded CLO and it gave me the same prompt, connecting to Chat server and then "Connecting to server...Disconnected"
I don't know how anybody has connected to this site? I saw in a post on
Cases where someone got through by saying no to changing settings - I never
get to that point???
I am running Windows 98 and I have Comcast Cable.
I wish it would let me in lol.
I think I am not going to get on unless a computer person can figure out for me why I can't log on. I have been very
diligent in following all of the steps in the technical help provided. I have tried it at least a dozen times with no success.
Please help me log onto Spades - Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
