I will check with the programmers to see if there is a way we can resume play at the current status instead of going back - you make an excellent point, thanks for the input.
The host has control of the table - when a player boots, it's usually a good idea to wait a few minutes to see if they return then game can be resumed... if the host clicks "continue game" the bot will play, then when the player comes back the table will ask you if you want to "resume with these players" - that's why it went back to when the player left.
