I am a staunch supporter of Cases on many ladders, and as such have appreciated the GSR such as what is being proposed here. However, I am finding ONE small problem with this rule - at least at this time.

Thursday (I think) I played and made #8. I have been out here in the Clo rooms every day since - trying to play either a game or a tourney - either one. Unfortunately, I am only able to get online late at night.... so that limits my availability. According to the new rule, I would have lost my #8 spot due to negligence, when in fact that was far from the truth. I WAS here.. I WAS trying :-(

Maybe this is a rule that needs to be reconsidered a little later in the life of this ladder? Just a thought..... DL
