Rob,
You are not being banned as the result of one post. I think you are fully aware of that fact. You have not been an active member of a Case's Ladder for months, and yet you continue to post inflammatory, negative, and borderline libelous posts in our forums on a regular basis.
Most recently, your posts have crossed the line past the point where we could turn a blind-eye and shake our heads mumbling, "that AlbertaGuy". And believe me, that has happened many times over the years. We've put up with your "conspiracy theory" posts, most of which were full of flat out non-truths clearly aimed at showing us in a less than flattering light. We've put up with your often times inappropriate, and sometimes even offensive, graphics postings. We've put up with a lot.
However, most recently you've wandered too far across the line. There comes a time when we have to weigh our fondness for freedom of speech and an active, lively community with our duty to our members and paying customers. As I already stated, some of the posts you've made recently regarding Euniverse's situation have bordered on libel.
And the LadderBux prizes you mention? I can only assume you're talking about the two people who posted that they hadn't received their VOTIVE CANDLES that they'd ordered a few months ago. You do realize we're talking about a 75 cent candle here, right? I don't know what happened to the original candles. All I can tell you is that we shipped them out. We also shipped out replacement candles to those two people a couple of weeks ago when it became apparent that the originals must have been lost in the mail. In fact, we ship out thousands of dollars in prizes every month. In fact, we shipped out over 100 prizes last week. In fact, I personally ordered both a DVD player and a PlayStation2 to be delivered directly to the members online last week.
My point being, and no offense intended, but you do not know what you are talking about half of the time. And yet, you continually slander our name, our intentions, our parent company's name... Enough is enough already. It is irresponsible of us to allow you to continue to shake the faith of our paying customers.
What you've been doing, and our tolerance of the same, could be likened to a person going into a retail store and standing at the front with the paging microphone going on and on and on about how much the store sucks, how they're ripping the customers off---even though in reality their prices are the best and most fair in town---, how the customers would be stupid to spend their money there, etc. and so on. What store would allow you to remain on their premises behaving in such a manner?
None. And I'm sorry, but neither can we.
You are welcome to continue participating in the Ladders and Leagues you are a member of, but for the time being your forum posting privileges will remain revoked.
